What is LENS Neurofeedback?LENS (Low Energy Neurofeedback System) Neurofeedback is the most afforable, efficient and effective neurofeedback system on the market. On average, in just 10 to 12 sessions our clients see lasting results. LENS takes an EEG (electroencephalogram) with an electrode on the scalp and mimics the dominan t frequency it finds at each of the 21 sites and then sends that mimiced frequency with an offset back to the brain to gently move the dominant frequency to a more effiecent spot. One way to explain this process is to think about how your car radio works. When you get into your car and the radio is tuned to 88.1 (any station will work), there is a radio tower somewhere sending a frequency tuned to 88.1 through the air and your car's radio is set to receive that 88.1 frequency and you can enjoy your music the way it was intended to be played without much effort or energy. If a new song came on you could learn that new song rather quickly. Imagine if your radio was tuned to 88.0. What would happen? There would be a lot of static. Now, assume you could only hear 75% of the music. You could still enjoy the music but it would take a lot more effort and energy and it would become annoying. If a new song came on, it would take a lot more time to learn the song because of the static. So, the closer we get the radio station to the intended 88.1 frequency, the clearer and easier we can enjoy our music. LENS neurofeedback works the same way. The closer we can get the brain's dominant frequency back to its intended place, the clearer and more efficient the brain will operate and our clients can function as designed. We believe A Harmonized Brain Equals a Harmonized Life.

Does LENS Neurofeedback hurt? There is no pain or discomfort with LENS Neurofeedback. We mimic a brain wave (a dominiant frequency) like a radio wave and the energy we use is about 10,000 times less intense than using a cell phone. Occasionally, someone may feel a little “buzzing”. However, it doesn’t last for more than a few seconds and we can stop at any time if it is uncomfortable. Also, some people will feel an energy wave move throughout their head and body, but most clients do not feel anything.
-
How many sessions? We recommend 10 to 12 sessions on a weekly basis for most clients. Sometimes, clients see their results sooner than 12 sessions and sometimes it takes more sessions. We are always monitoring results from our mappings, but we also monitor YOUR results. So, it is critical that our clients tell us what is going on and how changes are taking place.

How Does LENS Neurofeedback Work?LENS Neurofeedback uses sensors placed on the scalp to measure brainwave activity. This data is processed by a computer, which then sends back a tiny, imperceptible signal. This signal encourages the brain to break free from old patterns and create new, more optimal ways of functioning.

What are Brain Supplements?Brain supplements, also known as nootropics, are substances that enhance brain performance. They are designed to improve memory, focus, creativity, and cognitive function. They come in various forms, including tablets, capsules, liquids, and powders. At Harmonized Brain Centers we use the LifeVantage products as they are scientifically based and perform well.
-
What is Enhanced Blood Flow Therapy?Enhanced Blood Flow Therapy is a non-invasive treatment that aims to improve the body's blood circulation. By enhancing circulation, this therapy supports the body's natural healing processes and promotes better health and function.
-
How does Enhanced Blood Flow Therapy work? The therapy uses specialized equipment to generate electromagnetic signals that stimulate the microvessels in the body. This helps to improve the blood flow, ensuring that cells receive more oxygen and nutrients needed for healing and function.
-
What conditions can Enhanced Blood Flow Therapy help with?Enhanced Blood Flow Therapy may be beneficial for a variety of conditions, including but not limited to, chronic pain, fatigue, reduced physical performance, recovery from injuries or surgeries and better brain function.
-
Are there any side effects associated with Enhanced Blood Flow Therapy? Most individuals do not experience side effects; however, as with any therapy, some may have a unique response that may last a few minutes.
-
Is Enhanced Blood Flow Therapy safe for everyone? While Enhanced Blood Flow Therapy is safe for many people, there are certain conditions where it may not be recommended, such as for someone who has had an organ transplant and my be on immune suppressant drugs. Also some people are just more sensitive and we will always go low and slow with our treatments.
-
How long does one session of Enhanced Blood Flow Therapy last?A typical session lasts about 8 to 16 minutes. The length and frequency of sessions can vary based on individual needs and the specific condition being treated.
-
When can one expect to see results from Enhanced Blood Flow Therapy?Individual experiences may vary. Some people may notice improvements immediately, while others may observe benefits after a few sessions. Consistent treatment is often key for longer-lasting results.

-
Is a referral needed to start Enhanced Blood Flow Therapy? No referrals are required for this therapy.
-
What device do you use for your Enhanced Blood Flow Therapy? We use the BEMER (Bio-electromagnetic Energy Regulator) as it is a 25 year old German technology that is used throughout the world along with a patented signal to maximize blood flow by 30 percent in just an 8 minute session.
-
What is Low-Level Light Therapy (LLLT)?Low-Level Light Therapy (LLLT), also known as photobiomodulation, is a non-invasive and drug-free therapy method that uses light within the red and near-infrared wavelengths to promote healing, reduce inflammation, and improve cellular function.
-
How does LLLT work on the brain?LLLT can penetrate the skull and stimulate the mitochondria in the brain cells, which boosts energy production and increases blood flow. This creates an optimal environment for brain function enhancement.
-
Is LLLT safe and are there any side effects?LLLT has been studied extensively, featuring in over 3,000 peer-reviewed studies, and has been found to be both safe and effective. There are no known side effects when used appropriately.
-
What light frequencies are used in LLLT, and what are their benefits?630nm (red light): Improves skin tone, texture, reduces fine lines, stimulates hair regrowth, and treats skin disorders like psoriasis and acne. 660nm (red light): Reduces fatigue from training, inflammation, promotes bone healing, and reduces neuropathic pain, among other benefits. 810nm (near-infrared light): Improves healing, accelerates recovery from brain injuries, and assists in the treatment of psychiatric disorders. 830nm (near-infrared light): Accelerates healing post-plastic surgery, enhances bone repair and growth, and increases endorphin release. 850nm (near-infrared light): Offers anti-inflammatory benefits, improves muscle recovery, and promotes skin healing while penetrating through the skull for better brain function.
