2020 has been my most successful year in my 10-year neurofeedback practice due to the introduction of Nutrigenomics and the Protandim -Trisynergizers.
My neurofeedback practice employs LENS – (Low Energy Neurofeedback Systems). LENS as developed by Dr. Len Ochs of OchsLabs, Inc, is designed to restore optimal brain function by gently releasing repressions and balancing mental efficiency. LENS is an innovative, FDA-approved, non-invasive, cutting-edge treatment that corrects neurological pathways compromised by physical and emotional trauma. This system utilizes advanced technology software to track brainwaves in real time, and uses this information to help the brain reset its neural-connectivity. It can be used to optimize the functioning of the brain and the rest of the Central Nervous System. For the past 30 years LENS practitioners (world-wide) have provided relief for persons of all ages, experiencing anxiety, depression, PTS, TBIs, addiction, autism, aspergers, suicidal idealization, memory loss, neuropathy, and even over weight.
Mid 2020 a friend sent me a video presenting a phenomenal case study by a professor at the University of Colorado, School of Medicine () that introduced me to Nrf2. My interest peaked. I explored Nrf2 and its role in combatting oxidative stress (OS) - an imbalance between free radicals and antioxidants in your body; and Nrf1 and its role in combatting mitochondrial decline (MD) which occurs when the mitochondria don't work as well as they should.. I also googled PUBMED (the NIH research website), to learn of the thousands of peer-reviewed, major university studies of how these products work to combat OS and MD in over 200 diseases. I was amazed to find 725 studies on OS for dogs and 301 for horses. All this research and development has occurred during the last decade and is now applied in over 20 countries. A LENS associate, Dallas Shepard of Harmonized Brain Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado shared his experiences with combining the Protandim Trisynergizers with his LENS practice. He presented evidence of how these products worked to help raise the total amplitudes of his LENS maps and how his patients were feeling better faster. Amazed at all this science-based information, I joined LifeVantage, immediately added these products to my LENS practice, and noted similar results. It has been such a joy to observe people get better faster and experience such relief.
Nutrigenomics – The study of how nutrients and naturally occurring compounds affect genes: Introducing Protandim, Nrf1, Nrf2 and NAD. Protandim Nrf1 Synergizer is the only product (activator) proven in a clinical study to reduce cellular stress by an average of 40% in 30 days. Protandim has been shown to increase superoxide dismutase levels by 30%, glutathione by 300%, and catalase by 54%. Protandim Nrf2 Synergizer has been known to reduce oxidative stress by 40% in just 30 days. It is astounding to realize that pharmaceuticals (opioids, benzos, antidepressants, and the various re-uptake inhibitors) have not effectively treated the above list of symptoms but have even left disastrous side effects. Science has determined that OS and MD play a major role in over 200 diseases. A Washington State University Study reported that Nfr2 may be: “The most extraordinary therapeutic and most extraordinary preventive breakthrough in the history of medicine.” It was touted as “a new way to understand, prevent or even cure complex disease. This information indicates to me that as health practitioners we must treat the causes, not the symptoms. It is gratifying to know that the nutrigenomic products have received patents and are created with only plant-based ingredients that offer no side effects.
As 2020 comes to a close, I look forward to the New Year with great excitement knowing that I now have the tools to help more people feel better. I can play a vital role in prevention and care and help people adopt lifestyle choices regarding diet, exercise, and environment to help keep their body in balance, and prevent damage and disease. This work does not provide a cure but offers a quality of life. It is my hope that many LENS providers will consider the opportunity to combine the Protandim Trisynergizers to their practice.
